Resumo

The current information revolution, highlighted by the constant use of smart devices, smartwatches, tablets, among others, has boosted the continuous production of the current information revolution, highlighted by the constant use of smart devices, smartwatches, tablets, among others, has boosted the continuous production of hardware and software, with direct operations in the environment, economy and society. What is perceived, however, is that there is no problem with issues related to sustainability in the development of these computational solutions. Inspired by GrandIHCBr's first challenge - "Future, Smart Cities and Sustainability", this paper seeks to provide guidelines that support professionals in this area, and later on the sustainability aspects of their solutions. The work started from a survey of the literature and a consultation to the Computing Community in Brazil. The results allowed to know the state of the art and the tacit knowledge in the subject. One discussion also supported the choice of a reference model that was instantiated with the participation of five system analysts and three Computing researchers. Twenty-one guidelines were formalized and read the professional of industry and the university professor, both researchers, for appreciation. The results suggest that the guidelines raised can be applied to the guiding factors of sustainability for an evaluation of computational solutions.
